Reports have surfaced, first from Supercharged and later corroborated by sources speaking to 9to5Mac, suggesting that Apple is preparing to unveil new versions Regarding the standard iPad, the iPad mini, and the iPad Air. These announcements are expected to take place this Tuesday, October 17, amidst growing speculation surrounding updates to these popular tablet models.
The Apple New Ipad
Starting with the entry-level iPad, the last significant update occurred in 2022, as detailed in our review of the iPad 10.9 (2022) – which, incidentally, received favourable feedback. It marked a transition away from the home button, embracing the iPad Pro’s design, so substantial design changes may not be anticipated this time. While specific leaks and rumors regarding the new base iPad are scarce, improvements in specifications are expected, as is the hope for support for Apple Pencil 2 and enhanced battery life.
Turning to the iPad Air, which received an update in the previous year, you can refer to our review of the iPad Air (2022) for a refresher. Earlier speculations have hinted at the possibility of two distinct iPad Air models, potentially differing in screen size or specifications.
